Head gardener Ed’s approach is consultative and thorough, listening to our ideas but at the same time using his knowledge to challenge when appropriate. The work is neat, tidy and thorough. Yew Tree cottage is a beautiful traditional cottage garden. It is a wonderful homage to the classic english garden incorporating Edwardian design ideas. It is a fabulous journey with the different areas revealing themselves to you as you meander through. Beautiful features such as rose strewn pergolas lead to generous herbaceous borders abundant with bulbs, flowers and shrubs. There are meadows and orchards as well as a bountiful vegetable patch with an immaculate greenhouse. It’s a fabulous place to display GreenFolk’s versatility and diverse skill set.
